*Yellow Seed is exploring the option of coordinating the quality assessment requirement. For more information or to participate as an evaluator, please email us at hello [at]

  • Add additional reviews to the product profile to support vetting.

  • Link any end products to the product profile to support matchmaking.

  • Add tags and keyword filters to improve search.

  • Apply price standards that reflect a healthy living wage** for all employees.

  • We recommend compliance with the guide and protocols outlined in the Chocolate and Cocoa Industry Quality Requirements.

  • Work to reduce presence of pesticides, mycotoxins, cadmium, polycyclic-aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), microbiological contamination, salmonella or other foreign matter in cacao product.

*Some commitments are “Encouraged” rather than “Required” because of challenges to verification. Yellow Seed does not yet have the capacity or partnerships to account fully for all farm practices.
